Edison Middle School is a public middle school in Kern County, California. The school is located in the small town of Edison, at the corner of Edison Hwy. and Edison Rd, just outside Bakersfield, California. The school is part of the Edison School District. Edison serves students in the 5th grade through the 8th grade. Most students arrive at Edison from the elementary school Orangewood, the second school in the Edison District. After 8th grade, students who live within the Edison School boundary, will continue to Mira Monte High or Foothill High School, both in the Kern High School District.
Edison has a softball team, a basketball team, a volleyball team, and a football team.
